Reducing Traffic with Comedy

Evan was delighted to be able to help reduce traffic in Atlanta when he and the Ideas United team became the video production partner for Georgia Commute Options (GCO), a program from the Georgia Department of Transportation that helps commuters, employers, and property managers take advantage of commute alternatives.

When GCO unveiled their new GAcommuter app to help commuters find carpool matches and log their trips, Evan developed a strategy that directly addressed the myth that it's a hassle to find a carpool match. With the comedic 60-second spot titled “The Hard Way,” which Evan wrote and produced, GCO was able to greatly increase their users by showing just how easy finding carpool matches can be with the GAcommuter app. Produced by Ideas United.
