Directing a Comedic Brand Introduction Video:

Harper Wilde is revolutionizing the bra shopping experience to enable a woman’s busy life, rather than obstruct it. When they needed a brand introduction video with limited budget, Evan worked with his team to create “Role Reversal,” a video concept that played out like a comedy sketch while presenting the personality and ethos of the brand.
The video focused on how lingerie stores are meant to appeal to women, but they’re often hyper-sexualized pink nightmares that make women wish they were literally anywhere else. This concept flipped the script by creating a world where men are the ones who are forced to squirm as they shop for their underwear in the same way that women must shop for their bras — that is, until Harper Wilde offered an alternative.
Casting incredibly talented performers and collaborating on hilarious production design (see: unrealistic photos of overly masculine models, and a lot of phallic imagery) made this shoot one of Evan’s favorites.
